Thakkaly Thayer Curry | Tamatara Dahi Curry | Tomato Curd Curry - Kerala Style






















INGREDIENTS:
Tomato - 1
Onions - 1 nos (small size)
Curry leaf - 4 nos
Ginger - small cube
Green Chili - 3 to 4 nos
Red Chili - 2 to 3 nos
Turmeric powder  - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - ½ tsp
Thick Curd - ½ cup
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry leafs - 5 count
Salt
Cooking Oil


Preparation:

  1. Finely slice the tomato and the onion into small pieces. Cut the green chilis vertically into two, and crush the ginger.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, put mustard and allow it to splatter, the add crushed ginger and sort it for 2 mins.
  3. Into it add the green chilis, curry leaf, and red chilis sort all this for 2mins.
  4. Add the onion and sort the onion till it becomes transparent, and then turmeric powder and chili powder.
  5. Then add the sliced tomato allow it cook soft. Turn off the flame and allow it to cool
  6. Once it gets cool then add the thick curd and mix well without any lump.
