Prawns Fry | Konchu/ Chemmeen‍ Varuval | Jhinge Fry


















INGREDIENTS:
prawns - 500 gm
Onion - 1  (large)
Tomato - 1 (large)
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
Green Chili - 4 to 5
Curry leaf
Salt
Cooking oil

PREPARATIONS for Spicy Chicken Curry

  1. Clean the prawns nicely and keep it aside.
  2. Finely cut the onion and tomato, and cut the green chilies into two pieces vertically
  3. Heat 1 tbsp of oil add the chopped onion and sort it till onion become transparent and soft.
  4. Once the onion gets cooked, add chili powder, coriander powder, and  turmeric powder. Sort it till the raw smell goes off.
  5. Then add the tomatoes and cook it till the water from tomatoes get dried.
  6. Now add the prawns,  green chillies, enough salt and water. Give a nice mix, close the lid and allow the prawns to get cooked in low flame. Make sure to keep giving a stirring in between.
  7. Turn off the flame once the prawns get cooked, and garnish it with curry leaf.
