INGREDIENTS:
Mackerel Fish or any medium size fish - ½ kg (cut into medium size)
Onions - 1 nos
Salt
Cooking Oil
Ingredients for Marination
Chili powder - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder - 3/4 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Salt
Preparation:
- Marinate the fish, with salt, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice and ginger garlic paste, one or two hours before cooking or over night would be more tasty.
- Finely slice the onion.
- Heat enough oil in a pan for shallow fry.
- Once the oil get heated reduce the flame to low and fry each pieces one by one till golden brown and both sides get cooked.
- Add the sliced onion in between, this will make the fish taste better.
