Fish Fry | Meen Fry | Machali Fry

















INGREDIENTS:
Mackerel Fish or any medium size fish - ½ kg (cut into medium size)
Onions - 1 nos
Salt
Cooking Oil


Ingredients for Marination
Chili powder - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder - 3/4 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Salt



Preparation:

  1. Marinate the fish, with salt, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice and ginger garlic paste, one or two hours before cooking or over night would be more tasty.
  2. Finely slice the onion.
  3. Heat enough oil in a pan for shallow fry.
  4. Once the oil get heated reduce the flame to low and fry each pieces one by one till golden brown and both sides get cooked.
  5. Add the sliced onion in between, this will make the fish taste better.
