INGREDIENTS
Onion - 1 big size
Salt
Cooking Oil for deep fry


INGREDIENTS For Batter:
Gram Flour/ Besan/ Kadala Mavu - 1/2 cup
Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
Basking powder - ¼ tsp (optional)
Salt for tast



PREPARATIONS

  1. Slice the onion into thin pieces.
  2. Make a thick batter of gram Flour, chilli powder, backing powder and salt.
  3. Put sliced onion into the batter and mix it well, so that the batter get coated on the onion.
  4. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, once the oil get heated put the coated onion into the oil.
  5. Fry it in low flat by turning both the side, till the onion turn golden brown.

Best snack item along with a cup of strong tea.
