INGREDIENTS:
1 Large Onion Finely sliced
1 medium size Tomato finely sliced
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Curry leaf - 4 nos
Coconut milk/Ordinary Milk - 1 cup (optional)
Salt
Cooking Oil
PREPARATIONS
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, put the finely sliced onion in oil.
- Fry the onion, on a low flame, till it gets cooked soft .
- Now add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala.
- Add 1 tbsp of oil and fry it for 5 mins or till the raw smell of the masala goes.
- Then add the sliced tomato and sort it for 2 mins. Close the pan lid and allow it to cook this the tomato get blended nicely with the masala and onion.
- Keep the flame low, then add the milk and cook for 2 mins or water enough water depending on the gravy consistency you need.
- Serve it with any kind of Biryani or can be had with chappati or dossa.
