Mushroom Curry | Kumil Curry | Kaalan Curry | Khumba Curry


















INGREDIENTS:
Mushroom(Kumil/Kaalan/ Khumba) - 250 gm
1 medium size Onion  Finely sliced
1 medium size Tomato finely sliced
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Coconut milk - 1 cup or Ordinary Milk - 1 cup
Salt
Cooking Oil


PREPARATIONS

  1. Clean the mushroom nicely and cut each much into two pieces.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, put the finely sliced onion in oil.
  3. Fry the onion, on a low flame, till it gets cooked soft .
  4. Now add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala.
  5. Add 1 tbsp of oil and fry it for 5 mins or till the raw smell of the masala goes.
  6. Then add the sliced tomato and sort it for 2 mins. Close the pan lid and allow it to cook this the tomato get blended nicely with the masala and onion.
  7. Now put the sliced mushroom and close the lid and cook it.
  8. Keep the flame low, once the mushroom gets cooked add milk and cook for 2 mins. Then turn off the flame.
