INGREDIENTS:
Rice - 2 cups
Jaggery - 500 gms
Cashew Nut - 10 to 12 (any dry fruit)
Ghee - 100 gms
PREPARATIONS
- Cook the rice slightly over cooked.
- Break jaggery into small pieces and add jaggery directly into the rice. If not add melted jaggery.
- Cook it in low flame till the jaggery get blended with the rice. Once done add ghee and mix it nicely.
- Garnish it with nuts. To make it more tasty slightly fry the dry nuts in ghee.
How To melt Jaggery
- Break jaggery into small pieces.
- Heat a pan, put the jaggery pieces and add little water.
- Keep stirring till all the jaggery pieces get melted.
- To remove the residues in jaggery, filter the melted jaggery.
