Spicy Peper Chicken | Kozhi Varuval










INGREDIENTS:
Chicken - 1/2 Kg
Onions - 3 nos
Tomato - 2 nos
Curry leaf - 4 nos
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tbsp
Chili powder - ½ tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt
Cooking Oil


Ingredients for Marination
Pepper powder - 1/2 tbsp
half Lemon
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Salt

Preparation:
  1. Marinate the chicken for 1 or ½ an hour with salt, pepper powder, lemon juice and ginger garlic paste.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and finely slice the onion.
  1. Heat oil in a pan, fry the ginger garlic paste in the oil till the raw smell goes.
  2. Then add the finely sliced onion into it, and fry till the onion gets cooked transparent.
  3. Once the onion gets cooked, add the chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and pepper powder into it.
  4. Fry it in flow flame till for 4 to 5 mins, then add the cut tomatoes into it and keep sorting it till the tomatoes get cooked well.
  5. Then add the chicken and salt for taste. Close the pan lid and allow it to cook. Keep stirring in between to avoid sticking to the pan.
  6. Once the water in the gravy get reduce and turns brown color, switch of the flame and garnish with curry leaf.
