INGREDIENTS:
Vermicelli - 2 cups
Red Chili - 3 to 4 no
Grated Coconut - ½ cup
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry leaf - 4 nos
Salt
Cooking Oil
Preparation for normal vermicelli
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a nonstick pan, and parallely boil 4 cups of water in another vessel.
- Put the vermicelli once the oil gets heated and fry till it becomes light golden brown in medium flame.
- Put this fried vermicelli into the boiling water and leave it for 5 mins for the vermicelli to get cooked.
- Remove the vessel from the flame and drain the water.
- Pour cold water directly from the tap into the vessel and then drain the cold water, and keep it aside.
PREPARATIONS
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and put the mustard into it.
- Once the mustard start splattering put the red chili and curry leafs.
- Then put the cooked vermicelli into the pan.
- Add enough salt and grated coconut, and mix it gently for 2 to 3 mins in low flame.
