Aloo Matar Fry | Potato Green Peas Fry


















Potato Green Peas Fry is best side dish for hot rice, curd rice or chappati.


INGREDIENTS:
Potato - 2
Green Peas - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaf - 4 nos
Salt
Cooking Oil



PREPARATIONS


  1. Chop potato, onion and tomato.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  3. When the cumin splutters add the chopped onion and curry leafs.
  4. Fry till the onion becomes transparent, then add Chilli Powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.
  5. Add 1 tbsp of oil and fry till the raw smell of the masala goes off.
  6. Once the masala get fried, the add the chopped tomato and fry till its partially cooked.
  7. Now add green peas and potato saute it for 2 mins.
  8. The pour 1 cup of water and enough salt.
  9. Close the pan lid and cook it in low flame.
  10. Once the water get dried, pour little oil and mix it nicely and turn of the flame.
