Potato Green Peas Fry is best side dish for hot rice, curd rice or chappati.
INGREDIENTS:
Potato - 2
Green Peas - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaf - 4 nos
Salt
Cooking Oil
PREPARATIONS
- Chop potato, onion and tomato.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
- When the cumin splutters add the chopped onion and curry leafs.
- Fry till the onion becomes transparent, then add Chilli Powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.
- Add 1 tbsp of oil and fry till the raw smell of the masala goes off.
- Once the masala get fried, the add the chopped tomato and fry till its partially cooked.
- Now add green peas and potato saute it for 2 mins.
- The pour 1 cup of water and enough salt.
- Close the pan lid and cook it in low flame.
- Once the water get dried, pour little oil and mix it nicely and turn of the flame.
