INGREDIENTS:
Chicken Legs - 5
Tomatoes - 2 nos
Onions - 2 nos
Curry leaf - 4 nos
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala powder - 1 ½ tbsp
Salt
Cooking Oil
Ingredients for Marination
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Salt
Chicken Preparation:
- Marinate the chicken for ½ an hour with salt, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste.
- Heat oil in a nonstick pan and shallow fry the chicken till it become golden brown.
Gravy preparation for Chicken
- Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and finely slice the onion.
- Heat oil in a pan, fry the ginger garlic paste in the oil till the raw smell goes.
- Then add the finely sliced onion into it, and fry till the onion gets cooked transparent.
- Once the onion gets cooked, add the chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder into it.
- Fry it in flow flame till for 4 to 5 mins, then add the cut tomatoes into it and keep sorting it till the tomatoes get cooked well.
- Then add the fried chicken and enough salt into it. Close the pan lid and allow it to cook. Keep stirring in between to avoid sticking to the pan.
- Once the water in the gravy get reduce and turns brown color, switch of the flame and garnish with curry leaf.
