INGREDIENTS:
Cauliflower - 1/4
Potato - 1
Chilly Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1 tsp (optional)
Salt for taste
Cooking oil
PREPARATIONS
- Cut the potato and cauliflower into medium size pieces.
- Take a non-stick pan heat 1 tbs oil.
- Put mustard and allow it to splatter. This is optional.
- Reduce the flame to low and add the chilly powder and coriander powder.
- Fry for 2 to 3 mins or till the raw smell of masala (chilly powder and coriander powder) goes.
- Put the potato and cauliflower and add 2 tbsp of oil, and nicely mix the vegetable and the masala.
- Close the pan lid and cook it in low flame.
- After every 2 or 3 mins open the lid and sprinkle some water give a nice stir so that the masala get mixed to the vegetable nicely .
- Instead of water you can pour 1 tbsp oil also not every time but if you feel the masala is sticking to the pan and the vegetable is not cooked.
- Cook it till the mix becomes golden brown.
