Cauliflower and Potato Fry

Cauliflower and Potato Fry is best with hot Chappati.

Cauliflower and Potato Fry
INGREDIENTS:


Cauliflower - 1/4
Potato - 1
Chilly Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1 tsp (optional)
Salt for taste
Cooking oil






PREPARATIONS

  1. Cut the potato and cauliflower into medium size pieces.
  2. Take a non-stick pan heat 1 tbs oil.
  3. Put mustard and allow it to splatter. This is optional.
  4. Reduce the flame to low and add the chilly powder and coriander powder.
  5. Fry for 2 to 3 mins or till the raw smell of masala (chilly powder and coriander powder) goes.
  6. Put the potato and cauliflower and add 2 tbsp of oil, and nicely mix the vegetable and the masala.
  7. Close the pan lid and cook it in low flame.
  8. After every 2 or 3 mins open the lid and sprinkle some water give a nice stir so that the masala get mixed to the vegetable nicely .
  9. Instead of water you can pour 1 tbsp oil also not every time but if you feel the masala is sticking to the pan and the vegetable is not cooked.
  10. Cook it till the mix becomes golden brown.
