INGREDIENTS:
Half Roasted Chicken Shredded
Any small size rice (Sona Masoori) or basmati rice - 2 cups
Water - 2 1/2 cup
available at home (carrot, beans, green onion)
Green chilly - 5 to 6 small size
Garlic - 8 to 9 large size
Ginger - one medium piece
Salt for taste
Cooking oil
PREPARATIONS
- Wash the rice and spread in on a plate for drying.
- Fry the dried rice in pan for 2 to 3 mins. Once the rice start changing the color pour 1 1/2 tbsp of cooking oil and keep frying for another 2 mins.
- Then pressure cook the rice with 2 1/2 cup of water.
- Finely slice the vegetables, green chilly, garlic and ginger.
- Take a non-stick pan pour 1 tbsp of oil and saute the ginger and garlic in medium flame till it changes the color.
- Add the sliced vegetable and saute for 2 to 3 min in medium flame.
- The put the green chilly and the shredded chicken and a tsp of salt, and saute for 1 to 2 min.
- Finally put the chicken and fried vegetables into the cooked rice and mix it well. Add salt depending on your taste and keep the cooker closed for 5mins.
The roasted chicken can also be replace with fried chicken or boiled chicken. Depending on the availability.
